Anna Scheuble (BA) studied cultural studies with a focus on (cultural) history and comparative social sciences at the European University Viadrina. In her Bachelor's thesis entitled "Skizzierte Alterität? Eine postkoloniale Karikaturenanalyse der deutsch-polnischen Beziehungen zwischen 1918 und 1922” (Sketched Alterity? A postcolonial caricature analysis of German-Polish relations between 1918 and 1922), she worked with Homi K. Bhabha's postcolonial theory and applied it to caricatures. She is currently studying for a Master's degree in "Transcultural History of Modernity" at the European University Viadrina. Her research interests include German-Polish relations, the nation and nationalism, and the cultural history of war.
