Anne Kluger, M.A., is a research assistant at the Department of Modern History at MLU Halle-Wittenberg. After studying history and German language and literature at the University of Münster with a study visit to Krakow, she worked at the Department of Eastern European History in Münster and at the Leibniz Institute for the History and Culture of Eastern Europe (GWZO). Her research focuses on the history of knowledge and science, East-Central European entanglement history, transformation history, and regional colonial history. In her doctoral project, she is conducting a comparative study of "Slavic archaeology" in the GDR and the People's Republic of Poland using two biographical case studies. She is also a freelance writer for cross-media formats for the communication of historical knowledge. Anne Kluger is a founding member of the Leipzig regional group of the Young DGO and organized the mentoring program of the DGO for several years. Since 2021, she has been a member of Copernico's Editoring Board.
