Florian Paprotny studied history and media science at the Ruhr University in Bochum. During his studies, he worked at the Martin Opitz Library in Herne and on various projects, including a Copernico web documentary for the Foundation House of Upper Silesia and the Cultural Department for Upper Silesia. Since January 2022, he has been working as a research assistant at the Documentation and Information Center for Silesian Regional Studies (DIZ) of HAUS SCHLESIEN, where he is responsible for public relations.
