Hannah Riedler

Hannah Riedler is currently a Fellow at the New Europe College for Advanced Studies in Bucharest as well as a Post-DocTrack Scholarship Holder of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. She obtained her PhD from the University of Klagenfurt with a dissertation on the German and Soviet occupation of Poland 1939–1941, which received two prizes. Hannah Riedler has been a Fellow at the German Historical Institute in Warsaw and at the Institute of Contemporary History in Munich. Her special areas of interest include the history of occupation and forced migration as well as the history of South-East Europe, in particular the process of state-building in the 19th century.
