Tim Buchen is associate Professor for the History of Jews in Breslau and Silesia at the Taube-Department for Jewish Studies at the University of Wroclaw. He is working on a history of Jewish Elites in Breslau from 1848 to 1933. He is further interested in German settlement colonialism and expropriations in Eastern Europe between 1861 and 1950.
