Viktória Muka is a PhD candidate in history at Andrássy University in Budapest. In her research, she is interested in the identity politics of Germans in Hungary during the interwar period and the Second World War, in particular, the instrumentalization of their (religious) traditions, as well as how the interests of displaced Germans from Hungary were represented in the FRG and their relationship to Hungarian emigration.
