Vincent Hoyer M.A. has been a research associate at the Leibniz Institute for the History and Culture of Eastern Europe (GWZO) in Leipzig since 2021. He coordinated a project there on postcard production and ethnicity in Eastern Europe, and now works in the field of scholarly communication. He completed his history degree at the University of Augsburg in 2021, with study visits to Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and Emory University in Atlanta. His master's thesis on pleasure culture and nationalism in Poznań around 1900 was awarded the Scientific Promotion Prize of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, and he is currently working on a comparative doctoral project on this topic.
