German, Polish, Silesian, European? Identity and memory are complex, constantly changing and not always easy to put into words. So it’s just as well that they become the focus of attention for one week as part of "Academia Silesia" at the HAUS SCHLESIEN!
The binational, interdisciplinary seminar format of "Academia Silesia" offers German and Polish students an opportunity to actively participate in the discourse of identity and memory with "Silesia" and "Europe" as the cornerstones. In addition to Silesian cultural history, the program focuses on German-Polish relations and Europe's common cultural heritage, and also includes an excursion to the European Parliament in Brussels.
