Text
Immanuel Kant has shaped German and European intellectual history far beyond his time. The fact that the worldwide debate on his work continues to this day demonstrates how highly esteemed he is and how universally significant his ideas have remained. Kant, who taught at the Albertus University in Königsberg, has left numerous traces in philosophy, art, literature, politics and society. In view of the global challenges facing Europe, his work is of a relevance that probably no other philosopher can match.
In preparation for the Kant Year 2024, the BKGE is coordinating and organizing various activities around the topic "Immanuel Kant" and is conducting its own research.
