Translated History. German History in Eastern Europe. Theses, research, controversies from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Russia in German translation.
"Translated History" presents selected texts from Eastern Europe in German translation for research, teaching and the public. The online presentation aims to make publications on the history of the German-Eastern European neighborhood accessible to a German-speaking audience, who would otherwise be unlikely to ever discover them.
In this presentation we present current publications on the history of the German-Eastern European neighborhood. Here you will have the opportunity to read articles recently published in the countries of Eastern Europe in German translation with commentary. "Translated History" represents a service for research, teaching and the public, with the aim of facilitating and making more informed both academic and public dialogue on research findings and memory-based cultural developments transnationally.
The articles are both readable online and freely downloadable as PDF files.
