The map created by geographer Eugeniusz Romer for the Paris negotiations in 1919 served to visualize the ethnic relations in the future territory of Poland. It shows the Ruthenian-Ukrainian population of Eastern Galicia according to the Cisleithanian census of 1910 and was intended to ward off Ukrainian claims to the incorporation of these territories into a Ukrainian state.
