Silke Findeisen studied geography, political science and development sociology at the University of Bonn. Since 1999 she has been an employee of the Documentation and Information Center for Silesian Regional Studies (DIZ) of HAUS SCHLESIEN. Here she is not only responsible for the archive and the library, but also curated numerous exhibitions. She has written books and essays on the culture and history of Silesia and writes for the blog "The Stories Behind the Objects ".
