With over 22,000 titles, the West Prussia Library offers a wide collection covering the cultural, economic and social history of former West Prussia.
The West Prussia Library is available to external users for research and study. The holdings of the library are also available online via the Verbundkatalog östliches Europa of the Martin Opitz Library in Herne.
Inventory history
The development of the library was originally started by the Landsmannschaft Westpreußen. The museum expanded the collection through purchases, donations and book exchanges. The collection covers a period from the 17th to the 21st century.
