On the first Advent weekend the Cultural Office for Pomerania and East Brandenburg invite you along to the Pomeranian Artisans' Market, where you can explore and try your hand at new and old crafts.

The market, where Pomeranian handicrafts are presented by regional artisans, is traditionally complemented by an accompanying program of concerts, readings, theater and hands-on activities for children and adults. 
This is what the regional press had to say about the arts and crafts market at the Pomeranian State Museum:
"The advent market is a top attraction in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. For craftsmen and women and artists from Sassnitz or Sellin on the island of Rügen or from Rostock, Greifswald is the place to be every year when the Graues Kloster (Gray Monastery), now the Pomeranian State Museum, hosts the advent market. In 2017, the stream of visitors did not stop.
