The workshop for youth leaders, which is organized by the Cultural Advisor for Russian Germans and takes place annually in the summer in Detmold, serves as a networking event, bringing together youth organizations from the Ukraine, the Russian Federation and Germany. A further aim is the development of joint projects.
Together with the DJO German Youth in Europe, this international format was launched in 2018 and is designed as a workshop for youth group leaders, students and interested individuals or groups who deal with issues of history teaching, cultural education, media pedagogy, migration or social diversity in the youth sector.
Based on the holdings of the Museum of Russian-German Cultural History in Detmold, mediation methods and best-practice examples will be presented. Every summer, representatives of youth organizations from Ukraine, the Russian Federation and Germany meet in Detmold, develop joint projects and network.
